The Last Seconds of Life, a hardcore band from Pennsylvania were the first band after the locals to play the Decade of Despair tour. This was my first time seeing many of these bands. The first song they played "The Box" has a nice groove to it. They managed to get a circle pit going by the second song which was impressive. I'll have to listen to their recorded material to get a better opinion of the band even though they sounded great live. Someone got knocked out during a song so I guess the band killed it.
Up next was Lorna Shore, a deathcore band from New Jersey. God Maker, their first song, set the pit off with a fury of fists flying like they were fighting invisible ninjas. Guitars were very technical which I liked.

Within The Ruins opened with the first two tracks from their latest record, Phenomena; Gods Amongst Men, and The Other. For the old school fans in the house, they brought out the self titled track from their second record, Invade. Lots of moshing/circle pits and bass drops during their set. They closed out the night with Feeding Frenzy, Hegira, and Calling Card. Definitely a band I would see again. Catch this tour if it comes close to you!
Carnifex were okay. I'm not really a fan of them so I only stayed for a few songs. Power to them for going at it for 10+ years though.
