Metalcore outfit SAME PAINS have shown they are here to make a statement in 2026. Releasing their boldest track to date with ‘death’s adore’, available now on all major streaming platforms.
Alongside this latest release, the collective also announced their sophomore effort with the five-track EP ‘five flowers’. Set to release 18th of June. The EP is available to presave now alongside physical vinyl preorders via Breakthrough Records.
“’death’s adore’ was the first track written that we felt combined all the different aspects of our sound.” says guitarist Ben Burrows. “Lyrical intensity, heavy riffs, panic chords, ambience and dreamy vocals – it really shows everything we have.”
The release is accompanied by a cinematic, stylized music video produced by Colin Jeffs at Ten of Swords Media, which perfectly captures the track’s isolating and frantic feeling. Recorded by Brisbane-based producer Gareth Hargreaves, the single solidifies SAME PAINS’ reputation as an act that is fearless in their blunt lyricism and experimentation. You can catch ‘death’s adore’ and other songs from their catalogue at their upcoming SEQ shows this week:
