SAME PAINS Announce New Single, ‘death’s adore’

Metalcore outfit SAME PAINS have announced the release of their 2nd single for 2026, ‘death’s adore’, set to unleash on worldwide streaming platforms on May 14th 2026. Following on from the release of single ‘terminal’ back in February this year, ‘death’s adore’ marks a new chapter for the collective. Balancing the raw and aggressive sound

SAME PAINS have become notorious for alongside the more melodic stylings that were

present on their debut collection ‘closure - an aggregate’. The group are not afraid to wear their influence on their sleeves. “’death’s adore’ was the first track written that we felt combined all the different aspects of our sound.” says guitarist Ben Burrows. “Lyrical intensity, heavy riffs, panic chords, ambience and dreamy vocals – it really shows everything we have.”

Recorded by Brisbane-based Producer Gareth Hargreaves, and accompanying visuals. Produced by Colin Jeffs at Ten of Swords Media. The audio and visual components pick up where the band left off with ‘terminal’: darker, faster and heavier. You can catch ‘death’s adore’ and other songs from their catalogue at their upcoming SEQ shows this week:

  • Saturday 16/05 - Toowoomba – Volcanic Brewing (w/ Deep Leech, Insect and Deprived Of

  • Sunday 17/05 - Brisbane – Tomcat (w/ Inarius, The Local Romance and Stab on Sight)
