"Novelty is a song about heartbreak, pure and simple. It’s a realization that you’re just a plaything, a toy, for someone else’s amusement until they’re finally ready to move onto something else, and you’re left standing there wondering why…

Shooting this video was one of the craziest, most emotional shoots I’ve ever been a part of. I was stressed, anxious, late for the shoot….I laughed, cried on camera, and almost caught hypothermia while filming the rain scenes. Damon and Devin were absolute troopers for hanging out from start to finish; I am forever grateful for both of them.

Novelty is definitely the most intense shoot I’ve done to date, but I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Jackson really helped me bring this vision to life and turn something sad and ugly into something beautiful and cathartic." - Taylor Roberts
