Review: Anthony Green - Winter Songs

Anthony Green's surprise two song Christmas EP came out to the delight of fans. Green's soft, soothing voice echoes beautifully in the spaces where his acoustic guitar strumming doesn't.

The first track, "Better Half", is less of a holiday ballad, and more of a love letter. Green's proclamation of "no one ever gets my better half, but me" really drives home the simplistic, yet so well thought out beauty of Green's work.

The second track, "Christmas Waltz", is Green's description of a beautiful Christmas scene at home. "It's that time of year when the world falls in love" croons Green as he strums his soft guitar melody.

Much in the typical fashion of Anthony Green, this EP works so well on such a toned down level.

The EP can be purchased here.

Songs to check out: both of them, ideally.

Rating: 7/10
