PREMIERE: Freycus Release New Song, “Justice Miscarried” Ft. Peekay

Freycus is a Los Angeles–based progressive metal band. They collaborated with Pranati “Peekay” Khanna, (an Indian metal vocalist) for their new song, “Justice Miscarried”. Watch the music video below!

“Writing Justice Miscarried with Freycus in LA was a collision of perspectives. I come from a place where I’ve witnessed injustice in India, then globally, and now inside America,  different systems, same violence. This track is where all of that boiled over. I’m not interested in writing abstract anger; I’m writing about what genuinely terrifies me,  a world where power protects itself, children die in the crossfire, and as a woman, I’m burning with rage and fear about the future we’re inheriting. Writing with the boys was grounding and expansive;  hearing different viewpoints sharpened the message. Justice Miscarried is that shared refusal to stay quiet.”
