Premiere: Conversation - You & Me Old Man (Blackstock Sessions)

Conversation strikes a balance of thoughtful post-hardcore and melodically measured alternative rock. Today, we’re premiering a song from the band's new release, ‘The Blackstock Sessions: Live & Unplugged'. The performance features an acoustic re-imagining of three tracks from Realization | Release. Listen to “You & Me Old Man” below!

"We’re all incredibly excited to be releasing this session as it’s a real departure for us. Creating stripped down renditions of these songs was as equally challenging as it was rewarding. Taking a track that was originally very aggressive and high energy, and completely re-making it to work in an intimate environment was a tricky endeavour but we’re really happy with the finished product.

We also recorded “live off the floor” which was a new experience for us; we all knew we had to nail each part or the track would be a bust. There are still some “imperfections” throughout the session and we like that; we didn’t want this to be a perfectly polished recording. We wanted there to be a raw, live feeling to each song." – Timothy Bolton
