PREMIERE: Bitter Bones - RX Bottle (ft. Riley)

Bitter Bones’ new song, RX Bottle tells a powerful story about breaking the cycle of addiction, filmed in Sanford, Maine, with the community rallying behind it despite pouring rain and tornado warnings. It’s both a hometown moment and a message of hope that extends far beyond.

The “RX Bottle” video was filmed in Sanford, Maine, on a stormy day filled with tornado warnings and pouring rain. Instead of shutting it down, the community leaned into the chaos. Kids played in puddles, bikers rode through the streets, and families gathered under umbrellas. That raw energy gave the video its realness.

The story follows a child mourning the loss of his father, not because he has passed away but because he is physically there while emotionally absent due to addiction. One of the most moving moments was filming the bike handoff at the end, symbolizing that the cycle does not have to continue.

A fun fact just for Kill The Music: both of my parents actually appear in the video, which made the shoot even more personal for me. What could have been just another music video turned into a powerful community moment and a movement about breaking cycles.
