Following the self-release of 2011’s AVOHFASIH, Wisconsin’s ORWELL (www.aseatinhell.com) have survived on a steady diet of weekend-warrior road-dogging and homeland camaraderie. They’ve taken their blend of stoner metal/rock throughout the Midwest, to venues both large and small, and this August they’re hitting the road and heading to the West Coast for a run of shows.

Along for the trek will be fellow Wisconsin residents, three-piece sludge metal outfit SPEAKER EATER (speakereater.bandcamp.com). Having quickly established themselves as one of the heaviest acts hailing from the Midwest, Speaker Eater are gearing up to bring their unique blend of disorienting sludge to audiences closer to the Pacific. They will be touring the highly anticipated release of their crushing new album, Lords, recorded by Ryan Rusch at The Weightroom Studios and mastered by Dave Hill at Crane Song Studios.
