On This Day In Music History: May 28th

On this day, May 28th, in 1987 Whitney Houston released her second studio album "Whitney" via Arista Records. The follow up to her debut records, the album "Whitney" launched her into worldwide fame. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and would later certify platinum 9x in 1995. This album would also hold hit single "I Wanna Dance with  Somebody (Who Loves Me)", that would become a worldwide hit.
