On This Day In Music History: May 26th

On this day, May 26th, rock band Deep Purple released their single "Smoke On The Water". Part of their album Machine Head, this song is still to this day well received.  Topping the charts on numerous platforms, "Smoke On The Water" also certified Gold in the US.
