Ever since the announcement of the SNES Classic fans have been hoping that Nintendo would not make the same mistake that was made last year with the NES Classic. Unfortunately, Nintendo still has not learned. The SNES Classic went up for Pre-Order today in North America only for sites to crash under the pressures of high traffic, with fans desperately trying to get their hands on a unit. To make matters worse, physical retailers-like Gamestop-were given less that 10 units to sell. It seems as if the big N will never learn—or maybe they just don’t want to.
