My Chemical Romance’s Senior Album ‘Danger Days’ Certified Gold

Although the official Gold certification happened on August 15th, 2017 Gerard Way took to Instagram recently to let fans and followers know about wonderful news! Having successfully sold 500,000 units the RIAA has granted the graduation to Gold status! Danger Days: True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys was released on November 5th, 2010 via Warner Brother Records, it’s wonderful to see how far the album has grown.

Gerard Way’s Statement:

I am pleased to inform you that Danger Days is no longer Certified Oak™, but has graduated to Certified Gold™. Thank you all! Special thanks to Xavier Ramos and our team at WBR, for the hard work, and for putting this together for us. Also special thanks to Stacy, Lauren, Rob, Doug, and everyone else that was part of our operation.
