Movie Review: “Jackass Forever”

"Jackass Forever" has officially hit theatres and it is a hilarious thrill ride that is sure to satisfy fans who have been following the crew over the last two decades.

Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Danger Ehren, Dave England, Preston Lacy and Wee Man all returned for the latest installment in the series and it was as if they never left. It felt like old times watching the original members suffer bodily harm and embarrassment for the sake of making people laugh. Whether it be taking on tasers, dangerous animals, extreme stunts, or pig semen, everything felt like it had a direct link to the funny bone.

However, there were some notable absences, including Bam Margera and the late Ryan Dunn, but the team managed to fill the void with some new jackasses, Zach Holmes, Jasper, Poopies, Rachel Wolfson, and Eric Manaka. All of the new members are very likeable and made solid additions to the crew. They were also willing to do almost anything, helping to amplify the stunts and provide as much comedic moments as the O.G. members.

Aside from the new additions, the film also featured several guest stars including Eric Andre, Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler The Creator, and Rob Dyrdek. The familiar faces helped round out the cast and provide more laugh out loud moments as they got dragged into the mayhem.

All in all, "Jackass Forever" is a hysterical movie that gives fans a sense of nostalgia as it takes them back to simpler days when "Jackass" was still on MTV. With everything that everyone's been through these last couple of years, we can all use a laugh and this movie delivers with a perfect dose of comedic relief.
