Matchbook Romance Release New Song “Something Worse Than The Night”

Matchbook Romance have shared a lyric video for a new song titled “Something Worse Than The Night.” That track will appear on the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of “VOICES | VISIONS,” which will receive a digital release on February 13. The group commented:

“As the 20th anniversary of VOICES approached, we wanted to honor the album while also sharing something new. There were two songs we began recording during those Long View Farm sessions, but they were never finished. Nearly two decades later, in the summer of 2025, we completed those two tracks alongside John Goodmanson at Robert Lang studios in Seattle, WA.

Today, we’re releasing the first of those two songs. “Something Worse Than the Night” is out everywhere now! Thank you for singing along, for keeping the music alive, and for celebrating VOICES with us… 20 years later.”
