Makena Releases Debut Single "3 AM"

Makena has just released her debut single, "3 AM", and it will not be her last. While there are currently no plans for a full length album, "3 AM" is just the first in a series of singles we should be expecting to be released by alternative pop songstress, Makena, throughout this next year. Originally from Denver, Colorado Makena tells the story of two people who aren’t ready to commit to each other but are also scared of being alone.

Producers, Sho Ishikura and Adrien Peters perfectly combined Makena’s honest lyrics with the right amount of synth pop beats to create a song that is easy to listen to while still being interesting both rhythmically and in instrumentation. With influences such as Sia and Lorde, Makena seeks to bring a dark and vulnerable edge to alternative pop. Be sure to give her new song a listen and follow her socials to stay up to date on new releases, because she is one to watch.
