Perth genre-bending heavy hitters Liveconformdie (AKA Conform) reach to the furthest corners of their influences on new EP, 'Vol II: Music For Living Failures', out today and streaming everywhere now. Described by the band as "a collection of over-the-top theatrics, tongue-in-cheek vocabulation and themes of light-through-despair laced/riddled self-criticisms from the minds of liveconformdie", the extended play remains in tune with the band's niche aesthetic both musically and visually.
Liveconformdie stand by their DIY ethic. Everything is written and produced in house at guitarist Jeremy Pickett's studio. Ranging from Slipknot, Korn and Limp Bizkit to $uicideboy$, Nirvana, Royal Blood and Brockhampton, the new EP is weird and wild and entirely unique to liveconformdie.
Previous singles "Terrorwave" and "Help Yourself" kicked the EP off and scored the band traction from across the globe including an interview with Slipknot festival Knotfest, a number of spins on triple j The Racket and was ABC RAGE's Wild One video feature. The band have now reached over 7 million Spotify streams and they'll join Dropout Kings and Earth Caller on a full national tour through October and November. Tickets on sale now.
Before this, the band gear up to play an exclusive single launch show at Perth's Amplifier Bar on Saturday August 27. Supported by special guests Ratking, House Of Judgement and Shattered, the band will unveil their new collection live for the first time. Tickets on sale next Wednesday August 10 via Oztix.
