MANIA was created with the intention of expressing the pain of living with a depressed, suicidal internal monologue and how it affects one's relationships with those around them.
Right out of the gate, this track's hard hitting and aggressive overtone captivates listeners with unforgettable, heavy riffs and erratic drums, setting the stage for the powerful vocal delivery that is given, while also pushing the limits of what can be done using a guitar. These unique elements blended together make up the signature sound associated with LIAR and retains a lasting impact on whoever hears MANIA. LIAR was formed in early 2022 and released their debut single DECLINE (sitting on 60k streams) shortly after. The band has released 3 other follow-up singles with the 5th (MANIA) set to be released on 14/4/23. With a powerful stage performance, LIAR's young, energetic, towering live presence has sparked enough interest to play several shows around Melbourne, and to go Interstate within their first year of being a band. Recently, LIAR met with their new vocalist and adjusted their lineup to create a new, fast type of sound that has received an overwhelming response on streaming and social platforms.
