Las Vegas is known for its music as much as its gambling. Home to some of the world’s most famous artists, it is a musical powerhouse where you will be sure to be entertained no matter when you choose to visit. While it's been home to plenty of iconic artists in the past, there are so many great shows scheduled for 2024, including Pearl Jam and Twenty One Pilots. This article will look at the top concerts in Las Vegas in 2024.
Pearl Jam, May 16th & May 18th
Pearl Jam is a much-loved American rock band formed in Seattle in 1990. They emerged from the grunge movement of the early 90s and rose to prominence alongside Nirvana and Soundgarden. Pearl Jam has an iconic sound, and their music sets ambiance unlike anything else, thanks to the band’s explosive instrumentals and powerful vocals and lyrics. With the iconic Eddie Vedder on vocals, Pearl Jam is instantly recognizable, contributing to their lasting fame. The fact that they're still doing world tours almost 35 years after first breaking out is a testament to their lasting impact on music.
If you want to see Pearl Jam in person, they'll visit Las Vegas to play at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 16th. With classic songs like Black, Even Flow, and Yellow Ledbetter almost sure to be on the tracklist, this is one show you'll kick yourself for missing out on. Indie rock band Deep Sea Diver will perform the opening slot to whet your appetite further.
Megan Thee Stallion, June 22nd
Megan Thee Stallion is an American rapper originally from Houston, Texas. Like many new artists, she first rose to prominence thanks to her social media, where she posted videos of her freestyling on platforms like Instagram. Since then, she has become one of the most recognizable female artists in the world, selling out arenas in multiple countries and having countless viral hits!
On June 22nd, Megan Thee Stallion will come to Las Vegas to perform in front of thousands. Popular songs like Big Ole Freak and Savage are some of her most well-known hits, so we're sure her MGM Garden Arena show will be one to remember. What's more, GloRilla is also set to perform alongside Megan, so if there's one thing that we can be 100% sure of, it's that this show will come with tonnes of energy and excitement.
Kid Cudi, August 17th
Kid Cudi will perform alongside Pusha T and EarthGang in Las Vegas on August 17th. Born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, Kid Cudi is more than just a rapper — he is also a songwriter, music producer, actor, and fashion designer. In short, he's a real jack-of-all-trades who has the skill and determination to do whatever he sets his mind to, as shown by his move from Cleveland to New York City at a young age.
Best known for his 2009 smash hit Day 'n' Nite, he rose to fame thanks to the coming-of-age party movie Project X, featuring his song, Pursuit of Happiness, which made Kid Cudi a household name. This show looks set to be one of the best that Las Vegas will see this year, and while Kid Cudi will be able to take much of this credit, we also need to shout out to Pusha T and EarthGang, who are slated to appear alongside.
Twenty One Pilots, August 31st
If you're looking for a great way to say goodbye to the summer, heading to Las Vegas to watch Twenty One Pilots perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is a surefire way to do the trick! While their music, which walks the line between emo, grunge, pop, and rap, might not be to everybody's tastes, you can't deny that when they perform, they bring plenty of energy and good vibes to the venue, making great shows.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena is an incredible venue perfect for a band of this size. With around 17,000 seats, we're sure that you won't regret purchasing a ticket for what looks set to be an amazing show.
