Beloved 90's classic Mallrats will be getting a sequel in the coming years. Kevin Smith has said after funding has been collected, the film will begin production in 2016. I think the timing is awesome because that's is the same year Clerks 3 is scheduled to be released. If you haven't seen either of the original films, you're doing yourself a disservice and should do so immediately.
