Julie Elody Releases Debut Song "Sirens"

Julie Elody is an indie artist and self-proclaimed #girlboss from New Orleans. Recently, Julie crossed-over into the solo artist world after three years of being in a funk-rock band called The Fake Carls and featuring on various electro-pop numbers ("Pennies" and "Mountain Lion")and she is looking forward to using her voice to make a statement.

"Sirens" is Julie's debut song as a solo artist and this song holds her true to her word about using her talents to move people and make a powerful statement. Julie explains of her new track. “It is about the all-too-often times that we ignore problems in our lives instead of dealing with them head-on, and all of the ways that this effects us.”

Check out "Sirens" below and keep an eye out for more from this powerful lady!
