Jaxxon D. Silva Releases Music Video, “Shooting In The Dark"

LA-based artist Jaxxon D. Silva (who has worked with Scepta and Lil Peep), released a music video, “Shooting In The Dark”, from his new album “NUMBSKULL”. Jaxxon has various influences including punk, hip-hop, alternative, and grunge rock which he incorporates into his music. He’s quickly gaining recognition, with over 40 million listeners across all platforms. The music video is trippy and dark, showcases Jaxxon’s influences, musically and lyrically.

The song begins in a rather unassuming manner, different from what we know of Jaxxon D Silva’s usual style. A mellow guitar strumming is soon matched with a muted yet upbeat drum beat. His mellow, emotional and alternative influence really shine through in this track, giving us a glimpse into a more intimate side to Jaxxon. The song perfectly encapsulates the feeling of unrequited love, with lyrics “I think I fell in love with a lost cause, thought that it was mutual I guess not.” Simultaneously upbeat and mellow, the track promises to be an anthem for thebrokenhearted.

Jaxxon proves his true multidisciplinary nature in his passion not only for creating more music, but future plans including the release of an original short film following his new EP.
