You recently were featured on Fronz's website thesickest.co as being one of five deathcore bands that could blow Suicide Silence off of their thrown. How does is feel to be placed alongside bands like Thy Art Is Murder and Enterprise Earth for this list?
It's awesome to be placed on a list with sick bands, but I think that what we do is trying to create our own thrown rather than knock someone else off theres. We don't play music to be competitive, but again it's still cool to be feature and at least considered on this list.
You've been on tour with Carnifex and Despised Icon celebrating your recent release of Flesh Coffin for almost a month now, what has been the best part of this tour thus far?
Aside from releasing our album the best part is hanging out with all the bands we are on tour with. We've toured with everyone before so it makes tour a lot more enjoyable to hang out with everyone everyday, because as many people know being on the road does get a little draining at least we are out here with people we enjoy.
Flesh Coffin has been said to be one of the best deathcore albums in recent history by some critics, how are the fans responding to the newest release at the live shows?
The fans are responding to all the new material that we play live. Now that the album is out you can see fans being more responsive to our newer songs.
What songs and artists are on your playlists for the long drives between cities on this tour?
We've been listening to the new Code Orange record a decent amount. I've been listening to the latest Dark Funeral record "Where Shadows Forever Reign". We've also been listening to a lot of 90s and 80s throwback play lists. As well as The Joe Rogan Podcast.
What city has brought the most fire and energy during your set so far?
Brooklyn was pretty awesome as well as Atlanta and Denver. Those are the three that stick out in my mind.
What are your plans following this tour?
Tour more often and promote the new album. Hopefully go to places we haven't been to before.
