His Dream Of Lions are Virginian alt-rockers and they recently released "Swingin" their second single off of their upcoming EP, Pseudo Star. Pseudo Star is set to release February 16th, you can preorder the album here!
On the single, the band's lead singer Seth Coggeshall shares:
"We made Pseudo Star as a way of capturing a unique moment in our band's life, and in order to do that we had to rise up to the challenge of writing, recording, and releasing a record in a relatively short amount of time. There's a lot of uncertainty that comes with a challenge like that, and it's easy to get stuck in your head with fears of being inadequate or failing. However, we had to suppress our own anxieties, get out of our heads a little, and act. So for us "Swingin" encapsulates the instinct that fueled this record. It's about fighting the good fight, even if it's against yourself. Swinging unafraid of the fact that you might miss."
His Dream Of Lions is aiming to bridge the gap between pop and rock and "Swingin" will give you vibes reminiscent of a Transit and My Chemical Romance baby. (I know, weird to think about, but it really works.) Vocalist, Seth Coggeshall showcases an impressive vocal range and his ability to be soft and sweet but then gritty keeps you intrigued as a listener.
