Here's Why You Should Watch Banshee on HBO Max

You’ve probably scrolled by this show on HBO Max and wondered, is it good? We’re here to answer your question!

According to IMDb:

An ex-con assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania; where he has some unfinished business.

Sounds cool, right? I’m sure you’ve seen this actor before.

Does he look familiar to you? That’s Antony Starr. Yes, he’s the person who died at the beginning of Without a Paddle. He also plays Homelander on a little show called, The Boys. Maybe you’ve heard of it? This just shows his range as an actor.

Fight Scenes

This show has the best fight scenes on television. No, seriously. I could embed some examples but I think it’s best you watch them in the context of the show. Don’t look up the shitty YouTube quality versions. The fight between Burton and Nola (screencap above) is arguably the best in the series. As someone on Reddit points out, it’s basically one boss fight after another. Oh, and there’s also plenty of other action.
