Ghost Say Farewell To Papa Emeritus III

As they do at the end of every cycle, Ghost have "retired" the current incarnation of Papa Emeritus to make way for a new one. The transition began when men removed Papa Emeritus III from the stage at the group's Gothenburg, SWE show, during "Monstrance Clock." The audience was then greeted by an elderly Papa, who referred to himself as Papa Emeritus Zero. He told the crowd the following [translated from Italian]: “The party is over. The Middle Ages are starting now.” Ghost's new album is expected to receive an April 2018 release.
