Five Bands That Got Their Names From Movies

Many artists in the music industry take inspiration from film. This can transfer over to their songwriting process and possibly even their band name. With that being said, here's a list of bands whose names derived from movies!

1. Black Sabbath - The heavy metal legends got their name from 1963 Italian-French horror film of the same name.

2. Misfits - The horror punk group took their name from Marilyn Monroe's final movie.

3. Bring Me The Horizon - The band's got their name from a line in the film "Pirates Of The Caribbean" in which Jack Sparrow says "Bring me that horizon."

4. My Bloody Valentine - The group take their name from the 1981 horror movie of the same name.

5. White Zombie - Rob Zombie named the group after a 1932 horror film.
