Dying Light are streaming a new track called “Dust.” That song will appear on their new album, “The Wicked Crow,” which will be out on April 23. The band said the following about the single:
“The lyrics paint a tense, cinematic scene centered on a person holding lethal power in a moment of emotional emptiness. An emotional plea gives way to a tense exchange. The victim recognizes the assailant as an empty vessel but also recognizes that outside powers may yet intervene. For one person everything is turned to nothing in one lethal moment. Is it the killer or the victim who was killed?”
They also commented on.the album:
“This particular album was meant to be heavy with some drop tunings while holding on to our melody and hooks. We hope to plant an ear bug in every song. The lyrical content is always important. We try to tell a story in every song.”
