Underoath had been a band for 16 years before calling it quits. I had a chance to check out the documentary full of interviews and live shots and here's what I found.
The documentary starts out with eerie music in the background with previews of the interviews in the film. The first thing you learn by watching just the first 4 minutes is this is a very serious documentary. Every single interview praises Underoath as a band and as being a part of the family.
Watching this documentary was truly a thrill. All of the interviews were very informative and I feel like even if you don't know who Underoath is, you can still enjoy it. The whole band plus all supporting acts to their final tour explain why Underoath broke up. The basic answer was: "Underoath had ran it's course". I feel the documentary deserves a 9 out of 10 stars, because of how much work has gone into it.There's no other way to explain this masterpiece of a documentary. I personally recommend this to any fans of Underoath or fans of alternative music. If you'd like to buy and watch "Tired Violence" it is available for sale here.
