Darren Jessee (Ben Folds Five, Hotel Lights) has shared an official video for his new song “Shoulder Season.” That track will appear on his upcoming solo album. Jessee worked on the single with musician/producer Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman) and mixer Peter Katis (The National, Kurt Vile). He had the following to say about it:
“‘Shoulder Season’ … I liked the words by themselves. They suggest perseverance and resilience during a season of time. The term shoulder season means a transitional time of year.”
