Dance Gavin Dance will be hitting the road on a North American tour with Royal Coda and Body Thief. The band said the following about that:
“We are pleased to announce our exciting US headlining tour, ‘An Evening With Friends,’ with special guests Royal Coda and Body Thief.
Earlier this month, unfortunately, and not by our choice, we were made aware that we could not perform on the summer tour we had been looking forward to for the past year. We were lucky enough to get the support from our partners to help curate a last-minute headline tour hitting most of the cities we already planned on performing in.
Andrew will be filling in on vocals, our good friends Marc Okubo (VEIL OF MAYA) will be playing guitar and Sergio Medina will be on bass.
Kurt Travis (Royal Coda) will also be joining us on stage for a few select songs as well…
It is unlikely that you will ever see a DGD lineup like this again and in these intimate venues.
Tickets will be moving fast on these dates, so pre-sale starts tomorrow (be sure you’re signed up for our email list to get the code for access), and general tickets will be available starting Thursday at 10am local time. We look forward to seeing you this summer and releasing Jackpot Juicer on July 29th!”
