Comeback Kid have debuted a music video for “Shedding Season” featuring Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante. That track will appear on their new album, “Chosen Hell,” which will be out on November 6. Vocalist Andrew Neufeld said the following:
“‘Shedding Season‘ is about peeling back the stress, drama, and pain that we’ve been carrying on through life with. It’s about the specific or period in life where the decision is made to set ourselves free from harmful weight that we have lived in up until that point. It is about defining that moment and feeling confident in the choice to move forward leaving it behind.
We were fortunate enough to get Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox to guest on this song and she crushed it. It is a back and forth, ‘me against you’ type of lyrical narrative between Courtney and I. Her voice is untouchable and her guttural yell screams volumes of passion in this song. ‘Losing you was a solid win.’”
