Circle Share Rediscovered Demo "Over Broken Hills"

Circle have shared a rediscovered demo titled “Over Broken Hills.” The following was said about that track in a press release:

“Unearthed from Circle’s archive of forgotten demos, ‘Over Broken Hills’ captures the band at their most immediate and unguarded. Rather than revisiting and rebuilding the recording into something pristine, Circle chose to preserve the raw emotion that first gave the song life, allowing its imperfections to become part of its story.

Built around shimmering arpeggiated guitars, the distinctive tones of a Critter & Guitari Pocket Piano, melodic bass lines and a steady four on the floor pulse, ‘Over Broken Hills’ balances hypnotic repetition with quiet emotional weight. The arrangement gradually opens around a chorus that asks a single, disarming question: “Why don’t you love me?”

Lyrically, the track wrestles with vulnerability, trust and the cyclical nature of relationships. Themes of renewal and survival weave through the verses before giving way to a chorus that feels both deeply personal and universally familiar.”
