Ashley Xtina Releases New Single "Gone"

Singer/songwriter, Ashley Xtina recently released the single "Gone" via The Deli Portland. Ashley, normally known for more piano ballads, is trying her hand at electro-pop music with her series of singles The Game. "Frozen In Time" is another single off of that series that has already gotten notoriety and praise from even as far as Sweden.

While she loves singing and writing for herself, Ashley's 'big picture plan' includes writing songs for celebrities. “I love writing and hearing what my idea means to someone else. That’s why I pushed myself to go out of my zone for this project; so I can write anything for anyone.”  states Xtina.  Many artists can’t write it unless they’re living through it in the moment or it’s a deep wound but when asked what inspired ‘Gone’ the response was refreshingly simple. “I kind of just wrote to the track. Even though I’m not experiencing these specific feelings portrayed in the song, I’m inspiring by other people’s stories. I think that as a writer you need to be open to any theme and any genre. Not only will it help grow your audience but it’s all just a lot of fun to get out of your own head.”

Check out "Gone" below and keep an eye out for more from The Game!
