The legendary MORBID ANGEL has kicked off a month long North American tour.

Support on the trek comes from Sweden’s DARK FUNERAL and GRAVE. The headlining tour, the band’s first in six and half years, runs through October 21st in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Iconic frontman David Vincent added about the band’s set list: “We are playing many songs [on this tour] from ‘Altars of Madness’ and ‘Covenant’. We have put together a set list that highlights the diversity of the first four classic MORBID ANGEL albums in a way that celebrates the paradigm shifting creativity that has defined Extreme Music for decades.”

The legendary Morbid Angel have announced a month long North American tour. Support will come from Sweden’s DARK FUNERAL and GRAVE. The tour starts on September 21st in Atlanta, GA and runs through October 19th in San Antonio, TX.

The band is touring in support of their latest album ‘Illud Divinum Insanus (released by Season of Mist June 2012). ‘Illud…’ is MORBID ANGEL’s eighth studio release and is the first album in 16 years to feature bassist/vocalist David Vincent!
