This week’s “Classic Bands and Why We Love Them” contribution is from Matt Marshall of Palisades.
https://www.facebook.com/WeArePalisadesWhy I love them: I was 9 old when I first heard of Linkin Park. I’m now 22 and I can honestly say no band has ever impacted me the same. They we’re able to take elements of Rock, Rap, hardcore and djing/electronics to make a complete new sound. No band in my opinion was able to make a more unique sound since. What makes Linkin Park a true classic is their ground breaking music. Their debut album “Hybrid Theory” was released over 10 years ago and I can honestly say it never gets old. Without Linkin Park I wouldn’t be doing music and I can only hope one day my band can impact someone the same way Linkin Park has impacted me
