Dragon Ball Super Coming This Summer

Let's pretend Dragon Ball GT never existed. It was never canon to being with and was generally not well received by fans. Dragon Ball Super, the first DB series in eighteen years will return this summer to fill that void with show runner/series creator Akira Toriyama on-board.

It’s called Dragon Ball Super. And it’s the first new, original Dragon Ball television anime in nearly two decades. [...] The series will take place after Goku defeats Majin Buu, and the world has become a peaceful place again.

Namco Bandai announces Anime Expo 2013 Plans

Namco Bandai will be at Anime Expo in Los Angeles this week. And it’s bringing Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z and other surprises.

Tales of Xillia, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, and the already-released Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be playable on the show floor. Fans will also be able to purchase a variety of Namco Bandai recent video games and merchandise.

The Dragon Ball Z panel will focus on the upcoming game Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z.  The Dragon Ball Z panel will be moderated by Urian Brown (SHONEN JUMP Alpha) and will feature Atsushi Minowa & Shuhei Sekii (Game Producers – DRAGON BALL Z Battle of Z), Christopher Sabat (DRAGON BALL Z voice actor) and Hisashi Sasaki (Former editor-in-chief of Weekly SHONEN JUMP).There will be prize giveaways at the panel as well. It will take place on Saturday July 6 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM.
