Introducing Atlanta, GA pop-punk band, NAMESAKE. All four members of the band bear the same name as their father’s, hence the title Namesake. “It’s such a weird oincidence that we all ended up together,” says Troy Harmon, the band’s guitarist. Troy and his band-mates Will Crafton (lead vocals), Brad Wagner (guitars), and Kevin Nordaste (drums) started playing together back in high school before signing to Imagen Records in 2010.

Namesake recently finished recording their full-length debut album Borders & Fences in Orlando, FL with famed gold record producer James Paul Wisner (New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional, Paramore). The band’s first single off of the album, “World’s Away,” is currently available on iTunes and Amazon. Fans can check out the official video (directed by critically acclaimed MTV music video producer Scott Hansen) on the band’s official YouTube channel.

Namesake plans to hit the road running after the release of the new record due out this Spring, including an appearance at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, TX at The Artery Foundation. For more information on Namesake, be sure to check out their Facebook and Twitter pages.
