Story of the Year to Headline the 2013 Scream It Like You Mean It

Story of the Year will be playing their classic album, Page Avenue, in full, from front to back,as headliner on the 2013 Scream It Like You Mean It Tour. The trek marks the 10 year anniversary of the St Louis rockers’ major-label debut, which served to introduce the band to the masses, via its two rock radio hits, “Until the Day I Die" and "Anthem of Our Dying Day”.

Also confirmed for this year’s tour is Like Moths to Flames, Hawthorne Heights, Set It Off, I Am King, and Silverstein (on select dates).

HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS and Looney Tunes in West Babylon, NY are pleased to announce a special acoustic performance and signing of the band’s new album Zero, which will take place on Saturday, July 13^th at the store in West Babylon. The set time for the acoustic performance is set to be announced soon.

 To gain attendance to the performance and signing, you will need to pre-order Zero from Looney Tunes. Upon doing so, fans will receive a wristband to get into the event. Shreddy Krueger To Enter Studio in March with Jeff Schneeweis

Canadian melodic metal outfit, Shreddy Krueger, has announced that they will be hitting the studio in March with Jeff Schneeweis (Anaberlin, Hawthorne Heights, Secret And Whisper) to record their debut full length album. The album will be a follow up to their EP “Curses” that was released this past fall. The new record is slated for a late summer / early fall release via InVogue Records.

The Story Changes announce new full-length album

The Story Changes are entering the studio next week for their upcoming untitled full-length album engineered and produced by Micah Carli (Hawthorne Heights) at Popside studios with mixing and additional production by Jamie Woolford (The Stereo, Gin Blossoms, Punchline).

Kyoto Drive release video for "Breathe"

Kyoto Drive (facebook.com/kyotodrivemusic) have just released the video for ‘Breathe’ from their new Mini-Album ‘The Approach’. The video was produced by the very talented Josh Partridge who has worked with such artists as Deaf Havana, Portia Conn, The City Calls and Sell Your Sky. You can watch the video here.

"Breathe", the song, is basically about sex, lets not skip around that fact. The song is written from the viewpoint of the boy, looking for some kind of sign that the girl is enjoying herself as much as he is. So it’s kind of a love song, kind of not, and no matter what guys say, we’ve all been there, we’ve all waited for that second of recognition from that girl that we REALLY liked. So following on from that we really wanted to do a boy/girl story style video, keep it in theme with the song, plus we’ve done the whole band performance video thing, we wanted to try something new.
