I'd like to preface this article by saying that I'm a fan of vinyl. I love the texture and warmth of the sound and the feeling of tearing off the plastic of a new record. That being said, I'm a scumbag who partially jumped on the new trend of buying records but it's not to be cool or different, I genuinely like the format and the "vinyl revival" helped me find that out. Anyway, back to why I hate everyone who listens to swill, sorry I mean pop punk.

Two separate House Bills were filed on Friday that would legalize marijuana at the federal level. Representative Jared Polis (D-Colorado) introduced the Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act while Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon) introduced the separate Marijuana Tax Revenue Act.
The Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act would decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level, to leave to the States a power to regulate marijuana that is similar to the power they have to regulate alcohol, and for other purposes. The Marijuana Tax Revenue Act would go in tandem with the former and impose tax on marijuana.

Starbucks has announced they'll stop selling/stocking CDs in March:
"We will stop selling physical CDs in our stores at the end of March," a rep for the Seattle-based company tells Billboard, adding: "Starbucks continually seeks to redefine the experience in our retail stores to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Music will remain a key component of our coffeehouse and retail experience, however we will continue to evolve the format of our music offerings to ensure we're offering relevant options for our customers. As a leader in music curation, we will continue to strive to select unique and compelling artists from a broad range of genres we think will resonate with our customers."
