Topshelf Record is proud to announce the US vinyl release of ‘Embark, Embrace’ the new LP from Kilcoole, Ireland’s Enemies. The album will be released on August 20.

In the spirit of DIY, Embark, Embrace was recorded and visually designed by the band themselves, with engineering handled by a close friend, James Eager of The Hive Studios. The album will be the first release on the band’s own label, Heavyweight Records with Topshelf handling everything in the US.

The title Embark, Embrace comes from the bands decision to set aside careers & college degrees and focus on touring as much as possible — an opportunity that has not been available to the band until now. Enemies are just back from a three week tour of Europe and plans to tour Asia & America are already under way.

The band recently made “Executive Cut” free to download from their bandcamp site. Details for the album are below. A music video for the track “Indian Summer” can be seen here: http://youtu.be/8eZ4H0e1C_s.

Virginia Beach, VA's Turnover released their debut LP ‘Magnolia’ today via Run For Cover Records.  Two acclaimed release into their short career - a debut EP and a split 7” with Citizen - Virginia’s Turnover have quickly grabbed the attention of a scene of angst filled teens and twenty-somethings who grew up on Drive-Thru records classics and 90’s grunge radio. Turnover spent a month last November with producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive) and emerged with Magnolia.

Their debut LP fulfills the promise set forth in their prior releases - contemplative, brooding pop-punk songs written with a somber, yet undeniable catchiness. n honor of the release, Run For Cover is selling the record for $5 this week only on their BandCamp page.

Before joining Another Hero Dies as their last vocalist before breaking up, Egor Erushin was the main driving force behind Prague’s post-hardcore outfit Marina. When Another Hero Dies started to fall apart, Egor had a choice as he explains, “After everyone in Another Hero Dies decided to go their own ways; I got offers from another bands, but I realized it was just the best option to go back to Marina. It came down to I would rather try to push my own band that I started almost 5 years ago and put a lot of effort into as opposed to joining another already established band.”

With Egor back into the fold, Marina is finally nearing the completion of their record entitled The Downpour. The record, which has been three years in the making, is currently in the final stages of the production process. Egor commented on the album by saying, “We’ve been working on this album for almost 3 years now, and you can hear everything just fits together perfectly. Everything is in its place for a reason as we had plenty of time to record, re-record, mix, and remix everything until it sounded exactly how we wanted it to sound.” After supporting A Lot Like Birds on part of their European tour in February, Marina will be supporting The Devil Wears Prada on part of their stint in June. The band will then tour constantly throughout the summer before trying to hit the states this fall and winter.

THE DOWNPOUR (TBA)

1. North Polar Sequence
2. In Mortal Peril
3. Cold Case
4. Sign In Stars
5. Ah, My Fandorin
6. Blessing Of Serenity
7. Anchor The Solin Ground
8. Seconds Of Hesitation
9. Promised Lands
10. Means To An End

Currently on a break from the MTV Artist To Watch Tour with Twenty One Pilots, Five Knives will be tearing up the road all Summer on the 19th annual Van’s Warped Tour, as well as releasing their debut full length via Red Bull Records.

Your Demise have announced that their time as a band will come to an end in March 2014, following a series of farewell performances (details of which will be announced in the near future). The UK quintet have issued a video message to their fans and supporters regarding the split, which can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/o2YAaiM-Knw

Your Demise have also announced that in light of this larger decision and other circumstances beyond their control, they will no longer be able to perform their scheduled tour dates in Mexico, North America and Canada, which were set to begin in mid May:

We are truly very sorry to be letting our fans over the Atlantic down,” say the band of the tour cancellation. “It is with
heavy hearts that we have found ourselves having to make the decision to pull out of the shows in Mexico, USA and
Canada. Trust us, we are not a band that has ever made a habit of canceling shows, let alone tours, so we have not
made this decision lightly.

We feel terrible for the disappointment this news will cause our fans in those countries, and we would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all of our transatlantic supporters, the show promoters, our stateside team and, of course, Rotting Out and Expire who both were set to join us on the dates. On a more positive note, Rotting Out will still be doing the West Coast portion of the dates around Rainfest, taking over from us as headliner. Stay tuned for another announcement with the specifics of this very soon.”
