Grindcore stalwarts MISERY INDEX have announced a short string of headlining dates. The run begins on August 14th in York, PA and runs though August 19th in Baltimore.

The band issued the following statement: “Due to the recent cancellation of the Shockwave Tour, we were left high and dry with massive amounts of incredibly cool merch, wasted ambition and a rented van. Since this is obviously NOT a game, we are ready to go out and rage anyway, have a good time and spread our metal demon seeds in these cities! Come out and support us in anyway possible, and you shall be the next contestant chosen to win two tickets to death metal paradise.”

A complete list of tour dates can be found below.

MISERY INDEX is currently writing for the next album (the first for Season of Mist). Tentative plans see the band entering the studio in early 2013.

Tune in Thursday, July 26 to watch pop singer, songwriter and musician ANDY GRAMMER on the national CBS show “The Talk.”

ANDY GRAMMER will perform his new single “Miss Me” in addition to his Top 5 debut single “Keep Your Head Up,” both from his acclaimed self-titled debut album (S-Curve Records). “Miss Me” marks the album’s third single and follows up his back-to-back Top Ten hits at Adult Pop (“Keep Your Head Up” was #5 and “Fine By Me” #10).

GRAMMER was the first artist to have a debut single climb to the Top 5 in nearly 10 years since Jason Mraz with “The Remedy” in 2003. He has also officially sold over 1.5 million singles worldwide.  Known for his vibrant pop/rock/soul mix and free-flowing vocal delivery, GRAMMER has gonefrom busking on the streets of Santa Monica, CA, to performing twice on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and sharing the stage with Taylor Swift and Colbie Caillat.   GRAMMER just wrapped up a five-week tour with Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw and is heading out with Train on August 4.

Russian DJ & producer ARTY tears up the rule-book with his new remix of Zedd’s recent single “Spectrum” featuring Matthew Koma as part of Zedd’s Spectrum EP out July 31 on Interscope Records. ARTY is one of the few celebrated producers chosen to contribute along with Armin Van Buuren, A-Trak, Monsta and Deniz Koyu. Experience ARTY’s “Spectrum” remix here: http://youtu.be/fxXJQkpCLyU.

Keeping in line with the original cut, ARTY adds his world-renowned production skills to the track and shows exactly why the young Russian producer is deemed one of the most original and exciting talents on the scene today. ARTY’s “Spectrum” remix busts with huge sweeping pads and rushing synth sections that sweep up the senses.

Also available now from ARTY are his single for Anjunabeats “Open Space” and his collaboration with Paul van Dyk, “The Ocean.”  Meanwhile, fans throughout North America can catch ARTY on the Identity Festival, where he is one of the featured artists in this year’s tour, as well as several headlining solo dates.

Keep up with ARTY via his weekly radio show “Together We Are” on SiriusXM’s EDM and live electronic festival channel Electric Area Ch 52. The show airs every Saturday night from 1:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. For more information, check out: www.2getherweare.com.
