Upcoming Online TV Show Headliners Appeals To Pop Punk Fans

Headliners is a show about pop punk, growing up and never giving up, created exclusively for the web. They just launched a Kickstarter for the project and you can hear an original song from Christian McAlhaney of Anberlin below after the jump. 

Headliners is a media breakthrough that combines a fictional narrative about an indie record label and the young men and women immersed in the scene surrounding it. Currently in pre-production through Tessellation, a new production team of four who grew up in the scene and know it intimately, Headliners is slated for online broadcast in the Spring of 2017.

The Rocket Summer Premieres New Song

You can hear a new The Rocket Summer song called "Same Air" below via Diffuser.

Avary explained that the song – which simultaneously evokes the likes of Foster the People and Justin Timberlake – is about togetherness on a global scale. “At the root of it, the song was written as an attempt in my own heart to have an allegiance to everyone amidst the anger and bitterness that can tempt me with how severely messed up this place and we all can be,” he told us. “I wrote it during a brief moment of clarity where I was seeing beyond all the garbage and saw how every soul looks similar to mine: unpleasant, flawed, good, related.”
