Colbert to replace David Letterman

David Letterman announced he's retiring from The Late Show a few days ago. He's being replaced by someone who's actually funny, Stephen Colbert.  Colbert will retire his signature character, a faux-conservative talking head, the Wall Street Journal reported. He will work on “The Colbert Report” for eight more months, Comedy Central said in a statement.
