Avenged Sevenfold have cancelled their summer tour due to M. Shadows having issues with his vocal cords.
As they have done for past games in the series, Avenged Sevenfold are currently recording a new song for “Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4.”

Avenged Sevenfold's new album, The Stage, is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.
The two-day event is scheduled to take place Oct. 1-2 in Louisville, Ky. Bands set to perform include Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Disturbed and Korn.
Avenged Sevenfold released a statement today saying that Arin Ilejay will be departing as their drummer.

As with all musical movements, some bands stayed relevant and retained their fanbase, becoming “legacy acts” (e.g. Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Unearth). Others changed their sound to establish a larger, more mainstream audience (e.g. Avenged Sevenfold). Others fizzled early (e.g. A Dozen Furies, Martyr AD), or slowly faded as the initial buzz and excitement wore off (e.g. Shadows Fall, Chimaira, God Forbid). Still others met with some kind of disaster that makes it impossible to continue (e.g. As I Lay Dying).
