The Daily Complaint: Crutches In The Pit.

You're injured. You have crutches. You spent a ridiculous amount of money to secure a spot in the pit, but should you still go? Yes, if you feel up to it. But for the love of all things holy, if you decide to attend any show -especially heavier shows- with crutches do not  ruin everyones night. A few nights back, I attended a show that was on the heavier end of the spectrum. All was going well until the band took the stage and fans began to push forward to the barrier.  Some girl's friend began screaming to give her friend space and that we - the fans- were hurting her. Excuse me? The venue does have back standing room.

The Daily Complaint: Stage Diving With a Backpack.

I get it, stage diving can be a fun experience at any show. I'm all for enjoying the shows, but the thing that gets me is when people decide to stage dive with a backpack. It's bad enough when you get knocked in the head with the various limbs of the person diving into the crowd, but to get choked by the straps of the bag? Or how about getting slammed in the head by how ever many bricks you decided to put in your bag that night?  Don't even get me started on photographers that stage dive with their camera bag full of equipment, that's just plain foolish. Now I know, if you can't take the 'hit' get out of the pit. The thing is, it's not about being able to take the 'hit'. It's about said stage diver not being a moron.
