Good art is of war, toil and struggle and the art produced by the brothers in Avantist is eclectic, hard-hitting, infectious, comical and even unpredictable at times. Having little prior musical experience, the brothers have drawn inspiration from everything in their lives, ranging from film, brotherly fracas, and the sound of their father's classically trained Mariachi voice. The result is that Avantist brings you something unique that transcends the singular sub-genre of post rock while still remaining relevant and entertaining .
