Looks like Deryck from Sum 41 has been writing with 5 Seconds of Summer. Maybe now they'll make some actual music and not just get by on their looks.

Most of us didn't watch the Teen Choice awards last night, well all of us didn't actually. But to our surprise an alternative band took not just one, but two surfboards! That's right, 5SOS won against bands like Fifth Harmony and The Vamps, to take home the title of Best Breakout Band. They also took home a board for Choice Summer Music Star: Group. As far as the rest of the awards show, we're just disappointed Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" lost out to Bastille's "Pompeii" for best rock song, and Imagine Dragons for Choice Rock Group. But hey, you can't have them all Hayley!
