Richard Linklater talks Boyhood

Rolling Stone did an extended interview with Richard Linklater about his masterpiece, Boyhood.

Boyhood recounts a boy named Mason's childhood from ages seven to 18. Linklater made Boyhood by regathering the same cast and shooting scenes every year from the time Mason enters first grade until he leaves for college. Watching someone grow up right in front of you is inherently compelling.
