Wes Cage, son of Nicholas Cage and from the band Eyes Of Nocturm, was nice enough to let me get a jump and check out his newest solo album, Prehistoric Technology. Now I must admit, after hearing some of his previous works, I was a little weary going into this. But hold on, its not really that bad. In fact, it was a good change of pace.

Cage calls this music "Ghost Metal". I have never heard that phrase before, and I have never quite heard anything like his music. I could definitely see fans of Black Sabbath getting into this.

While the album itself has some kinks, and the performances have room for improvement, I am quite impressed with Wes' solo attempt and will honestly be looking forward to seeing what he does in the future.

Not much to say about Prehistoric Technology. It wasn't mind blowing great, but it wasn't blow-my-brains-out terrible.

7 out of 10 for Wes Cage, with some high hope of him sticking with this and growing as a musician.
